Pro Shop and lessons The Pro shop is a well stocked with all the major brand names that you would expect from a club in the heart of the Cotswold Water Park. It's here you can meet our PGA Professional Colin Harraway or our PGA Assistant Professional James Harraway to discuss your game or book a lesson to help you improve.
Colin Harraway, Head PGA Professional Colin joined South Cerney Golf Course In June 2002, having previously been the Head Professional at Ogbourne Downs Golf Club near Marlborough. Colin turned professional in 1979 at North Wilts Golf Club and played full time on the West Region and briefly on the European Tour before choosing to retire from competitive golf in 2000 and focus on teaching. Over the years Colin has divided his time between running the golf management side here at South Cerney and coaching. Colins knowledge, enthusiasm and passion for teaching has gained him the reputation for being a first class, well repected golf instructor.
James Harraway, Assistant PGA Professional James turned professional in August 2005 off a handicap of +2 following an amatuer career where he tasted success at club, county and national level. James won the Wiltshire County Agegroup championships 3 years running and won the South of England -16 championship in 2001. James represented Wiltshire and Junior and Mens level and also represented England -16's in 2001. James won his first event as a professional, the Regis Rose on the Elite Pro Tour in 2005. James is now in his final year of his PGA qualifications and divides his time between teaching at the club and playing on the West Region.
